Don't forget to check out professional organizations in your field of major. The national organization and some times local chapters offer scholarships. If you see that the deadline has passed, put down on your calendar to look for next year's scholarship announcement. (For example, it is now August and the scholarship application was due in March. Make a note in your calendar to check back in February.)
