In order to become a health educator you need a degree in community or public health or a similar/related field. You also need to pass a test to get your Health Education Specialist Certification.

If you?re unemployed or not happy with your present career, health related fields offer you many diverse opportunities. If you think you are too old for a new career or that you can?t afford to go back to school, think again; don?t just assume that you can?t do it. Some health related jobs do not require all that much training and you might be eligible for loans or grants for your schooling.
