In order to become a health educator you need a degree in community or public health or a similar/related field. You also need to pass a test to get your Health Education Specialist Certification.

If you think you are too old for a new career or that you can?t afford to go back to school, think again; don?t just assume that you can?t do it. Some health related jobs do not require all that much training and you might be eligible for loans or grants for your schooling.
